Speed and rpm drop??

We purchased a 2018 25 ssbxp with spa and Yamaha 200hp. Took delivery on the water 5/02/18. I checked wot rpms was about 6200 with 2 adults and 3/4 tank fuel, couldn't check speed my simrad was bad and needed replaced. So I had my dealer pull the boat and fix a few items and do the 20hr service a couple weeks ago. Now at wot I can only get 5200 rpms and 33mph max. Any thoughts. Also I tried to post pics but was not able.
 
Does it sit in the water 24x7? If so, dirty logs may be the problem.

Yes it does sit in the water 24/7 but I clean the toons. They dont have anything on them. Also I can still hit 33mph and 5200 rpms with 4 adults 3 kids and half tank of gas or just 2 adults and half tank gas
 
6200 RPM is to high for a Yamaha 200. Should be no more than 6000.
 
Did this change happen immediately after your 20 hour service, or has it slowly been happening since you got the boat?
 
Mine is in a slip all season .You need to wipe the slime off your toons .I "try" to do mine once a week .
Dirty toons will slow you down.

The last few times I had it out before the service we had a packed boat, so it was hard to tell. Didn't notice it until after I got it back from service.
 
As others have indicated, I'd be sure that you wipe down all three toons and then continue to record performance over the next few weeks. If there seems to be a continued problem, contact your dealer. Good luck and welcome!

Do you go underneath ,and wipe all 3 top to bottom ?
I am 6'5" ,its not easy for me to get under and then you have the ******* causing wakes in a no wake zone at the sand bar
 
My dirty toons will actually slow my boat to 9 mph ..... :D

Ha .... I was bummed. My R went faster, around 12 or so. The G maxes out just over 10 ;). Heck, my GillGetter did 14 ... it was a speed demon compared to this boat ..:p
 
I tell you what, between all the pesky fly swatting jet skis and those tsunami sucking wake boats, I'd gladly trade my 150 for a 20 if the powers that be decided to put a HP limit on our lake.

Is that 10 mph measured by gps or sun dial?
