Spring has Arrived in Northern Michigan ( According to the Calendar )

Crazy how high they ride when empty. All I know is I'll be on my freighter Saturday! Man I am excited.

It won't be long now ,Andy .

What is your weather supposed to be like ?

Thats amazing ( the freighters )  ,most of the ones I see are full .

40% chance of rain with high winds. Perfect boating weather and I don't have my load guides yet for the lift...

May take mine out.  Still need to get to the 10 hours of break in.   Supposed to rain.  Putting the mooring cover on/off/on/off twice a day for a quick ride is a PITA!

I hear you, our canopy top should be here soon so that will help later in the season.

Do you cover it every time it rains?  is it OK to leave the top off on a light rain?

I keep mine covered .

My wife and I had a system last year on the 22 SLX we had it covered in less than 5 minutes .

I hope it works this season on the RCW

Our last boat was covered every night and most of the day to keep the sun and elements out. Once you price replacement seats you tend to keep them covered!

It may be less expensive to come down with P.A.D.s .

True! It cost more to redo the seats in the crest than to do the 2013-2014 swap.

yea i'll just make a habit of putting it on / taking it off until I invest in a lift with a cover.

Optimistic me want's to point out this piece of the article :)

"There may be a little relief in sight, Adam said. Looking forward to the next week, he said a warm-up to around our typical seasonal highs into the 60s next week."

looks high.

Very High ,the home owners are worried about wakes now .

Does the river have a dam so they can drain it some.  That's pretty high.  I would be concerned about wake if I live on that river.

I would love to go blasting up through there, wakes or no wakes.

That is the Crooked River ,to the south it connects to Crooked Lake ( and Pickerel Lake )  ,North it connects to Burt Lake then the Indian River  to Mullet Lake to the Cheboygan  River and out to Lake Huron.
