Stains on furniture from sun tan lotions & sun screens

I have heard some horror stories about furniture being stained from sun tan lotions/oils & sun screens .

I am going to protect it with 303 .

I have also heard that sunscreen with " Titanium Oxide and Zinc Oxide " will not stain

Any thoughts,comments or horror stories ?

Towels FTW !!!! I don't care how good a cleaner, protectant is, NO ONE will sit on our seats without a towel if lotions on !!!

Yeah I just put the 303 on Sunday. I use it every year.

Thats what my thoughts were .

We just bought some extras . Still doing the 303 .

The care instructions for the vinyl specifically states that lotions will stain the vinyl.

Towels all around for us as well!

The product to really watch out for is bug spray. If a bottle leaks on your seating it doesn't stain the vinyl, it dissolves it.

I also do not allow "spray on" sunscreen on my boat. The spray will drift all over the place.
