Of the many modifications I have made one stands out every time I use the boat. This modification is a covering system that allows me to cover the boat in three minutes. Key to the way it works is a portion of the cover is always attached to one side of the boat. When stowed the cover is rolled up around a roller tube/ridge pole. It lays cradled along the length of the gunnel. The prop rods are hinged to the ridge poll to eliminate loose parts. The cover clips have a ergonomic strap that makes attachment with high tension possible. This eliminates the need to dive under the top. I have used this system on two other boats. My current boat (shown) utilizes a foldable ridge pole so the rolled up cover can be hidden into a space that was underutilized. With a better covering system, I think more people would enjoy their boat more often.
