Throttle/gear selector not working on new boat

I have 14 hours on my new 2021 SSRCX with a 150 VMAX. Was pulling into my hoist today when I realized it wouldn't shift into reverse. Thankfully got it in safely but the throttle lever only allows for "neutral" while in the reverse position. It turns the prop forward in the actual neutral position. I now can't get the boat out of my hoist because I can't go reverse. The throttle also feels really tight. All was working fine beforehand.

I'll be calling my dealer first thing tomorrow (they're on my lake, but I'm leaving tomorrow and live 5 hours away) but can anyone help relieve my anxiety and frustration about this? Hoping it's just that the cable is not set correctly or something. Also assuming this is a warranty thing.

Sounds like an adjustment issue.
Since it WAS working correctly, I am suspecting a jam nut worked loose or something similar?

Good news, quick easy fix. The clip connecting the throttle cable in the engine came loose, the marina was out within an hour of me calling this morning and fixed it at my dock.
