Had some storm damage so my pontoon is going to be totalled out (all interior damage). I keep my f250 yamaha and trailer. With all the new models coming out I'm thinking about going with an I/O. My engine has just 30 hrs on it. What is this thing worth? Should I try to trade it into the dealer or just sell it outright. Not sure how I would come out on that or just stay with my outboard on a new boat. We do quite a bit of tubing skiing etc. thanks for your input.

Sorry to hear about the boat, but great time for an upgrade!! Any photos? I'd probably let the dealer handle it all. Not sure how many are looking for loose motors. I could be wrong though. Have you seen the new windshield models???? They look really nice.

No pics yet. The rear loungers were tore up, cover, bit of the vinyl floor got beat up and a small hole in the drivers console. Like the winshield model but for our family it's nice to have some shaded seating. Thx for the input. I threw it up on craigslist so will see what happens. Still would appreciate if someone has an idea of what it's worth.

I agree with jsur, NADA should get you close.

What year and model of Yamaha f 250 is it? If it is a 20 inch shaft I may be interested, I am looking at upsizing to a 250 on my rig, I have a guy interested in my 150.

Could you PM me some more info on it and the link you have on CL and where are you located at?

What year was it and what happened? If newer I would think they would try to repair it. I would think a lot of the money is "underneath" unless it was a Q with Pillowtop Stitched upholstery. Can you buy it back? Heck, depending on how bad the vinyl floor is, order snap in carpet. If the panels themselves were not hit I would think everything else would be a fairly easy replace job (excluding vinyl floor)
