Hi, i have a 2013 2250 GBR with a single solid pole for pulling a tuber with a 115 Yamaha.
I just bought this boat from my friend, he's never towed anyone, pole is solid with no play. This past weekend I towed one adult for about 5 minutes then another for 5 minutes, nothing odd occurred and tube did not submarine.
After being at dock I noticed the solid pylon is not completely parallel with the rear rail, not a bent pylon, just seems 2 degrees from being parallel. I did not focus on it before pulling g the tubers, as I mentioned I just got the boat new to me. Its solid as a rock, no play, just about 2 degrees from being parallel with rear rail if you look in a side view.
Can anyone comment on this ?
Doesn't look like i have a serious issue here, just wondering if perhaps it was like that from the beginning and I didn't notice.

Check inside the Motor Pod - you should be able to easily see the bracket and if it is welded or bolted. The fact that there is no play or wiggle suggests the mount was installed with that 2-degree slant. I can't imagine it would have any effect, other than driving us OCD Benny owners a tad crazy. Picture of mine attached (2021) - appears the primary support is welded to the two sides of the engine mount, and then bolted. I can easily see this not always being perfectly level. You might check if the bolts are loose or welds are cracked, but it again - no wiggle, no issue?
