Very lucky. Bought the toon and never did logistics check on route to the lake. G2375 with sport arch on my trailer is at a hight of 11' 6" . I have been towing it this way. But definitely take notice of trees, bridges, power lines and Etc a lot closer. Was wonder if anybody else trailers theirs and have folded the arch forward by unbolting the back two supports and unplugging the wiring harness?

I asked about this once because I have two low bridges on the lake and was told the Bennington arch did NOT fold down. Stupid if you ask me but that's what I was told.

That is interesting since the front two posts have Pivoit point and the back two seem easy enough to unbolt. So I wonder then if the dealer assembled after shipment? Still think it could fold forward. Mine has pivot points. Will load a pic once I figure out from my iPhone.

It does pivot forward when the rear bolts are removed ,dealer had it that way when arch was repaired last season ( paint )  .I do not own a trailer ( yet ) Mine sits 14 ft high to the top of the tow point on the dealers trailer .

Mine  came un-assembled

Jack M. - thank you for confirming my thoughts on this. Wow that sits real high on the dealer trailer. You would be forced to lower it you owned that trailer and had to tow it I think... Your boat is really nice too. Looks a lot like mine in many ways. Nice to know just in case I need/want to take it to another lake.

Thanks.

I thought I read on the build site that Bennington now offers a power option to lower the arch .

We moved to a private marina this season . We have the only private underpass the entire length under I-75 . The road existed before I-75 was constructed ,so it was grandfathered in .

I had to find out the overall height ,to see if I could make it through the tunnel . The answer is no it doesn't .

No ,I haven't .Went out of town and forgot about it .

Still ,cant find it .Not offered any longer ?

I asked the dealer the other day when I was in, he said the arch was in a down position and shink wrapped. After they remove the shrink wrap they just put it in the upright position and secured it with the bolts and attach the wire harness. Told me for long trips to lower it if not sure the height restrictions for my route. Just need to make sure to brace it well in lower position. Said he would do it for me if I was having him shrink wrap it for the witer. That is good news.

I can't say anything to the sport arch, but make sure you don't leave your table in place while on the interstate! :(

14'? really? Whats the trailer riding on 24" dubs? Mine is around 12'6" to the top of the tower, and I think I have one of the higher trailers out there with 14" tires.

It was the dealers trailer ,I took a measurement from the pavement to the deck and again from the deck to the top of the tow point (anchor light not installed )

What was your measurement from the deck to top of the tower?

Boat is in storage now .

I am 6'5" ,when I am next to it on a trailer I have to stand on my toes to see the deck .

When on the boat I have at least a foot clearance between the top of my head on the bottom of the arch .
