Maiden voyage of the 22 SFX this weekend. Getting it on the trailer was an adventure. The first day 10 mph head wind. It took me 4 tries. The second day was a different story. 20 mph crosswind. It took 10-12 tries. I am looking for recommendations on pontoon trailering guides.

I have 60” ce smith guides that go on the outside of the trailer. Work great for me and makes it a one man job

I think you have the best of both worlds set- up there! Corner and tube guides. Do you remove the corner posts when traveling? I measured a set here, they made the rig almost 9.5 ' wide, an issue with our congested LA freeways with tiny lanes, but they really help anchor a Toon and then just pivot onto the trailer. Then add the toon guides and the cross wind becomes a non issue. Sweeeeet.

I own a 22ssx and quickly learned that help was needed to easily trailer my Benny. My dealer had installed the two approx 60 guides on both sides of the back of my trailer. But that wasn’t enough, so he added the two short interior guides. All was well until I badly missed again. So we added a second pair of taller interior guides installed behind the first (shorter) pair. This which worked well when the back of the trailer is deep because the of slope of the ramp. So here’s some pics.
