Give us your RPM at wide open throttle and tell us if you were lightly loaded or heavy load in boat. We need that information first.I just bought a used Bennington 22’ tritoon with lifting stakes and a Yamaha 200sho I’m only getting 28-29mph top speed and suggestions and my prop 13 3/4 —19
Do you have a SPS tritoon hull? What make/brand prop? Condition of pontoons (clean)? RPM at WOT? Load (# of people, fuel level, gear) and water conditions (calm)? These are all important details. Cannot guide you too much without them.I just bought a used Bennington 22’ tritoon with lifting stakes and a Yamaha 200sho I’m only getting 28-29mph top speed and suggestions and my prop 13 3/4 —19
The rpms are around5500 the motor is bottom hole the toons are fairly clean no water in them I have 40-50 gallons of gas and just me and wife on boatGive us your RPM at wide open throttle and tell us if you were lightly loaded or heavy load in boat. We need that information first.
Check Toons for cleanliness and no water in them. If you can look and see if you motor is mounted the lowest point or what hole it's in. I'm not sure but 19 seems like a large pitch for that motor but maybe not.

Those questions aside, you are incredibly over propped!!!! You likely should have a 14-15p prop. 19p is waaaaay too much. Your rpm range at WOT is 5000-6000.
If everything gets properly taken care of and dialed in, that should be in the 42-45mph range at WOT on a light load running as close to 6000rpms as you can get it.
The cheapest thing to do first is to raise your motor 1 or two holes. If you boat is on a trailer this is easy to do. Block your tires on trailer, place wood or blocks from ground up to your lower unit. Remove the bolts that are in the threaded holes, just LOOSEN the sliding bolts. Now go to the front of your trailer and crank your trailer up using your swing jack on trailer. This will raise the motor (Easier with two people) Use a marine silicone in bolt holes, put bolts in and tighten and also tighten the sliding bolts. Test your boat and check the RPM's and speed. I still think your prop is pitched too much though even though you are 5500 rpm.The rpms are around5500 the motor is bottom hole the toons are fairly clean no water in them I have 40-50 gallons of gas and just me and wife on boat
