Upgrade to Air Lift Seat Pedestal

The fixed-height seat pedestals for the twin captain chairs were too low for us on my 2025 21SSR/SPS. Being too old to do the work myself, I had the dealer install the replacement Air Lift gas strut pedestal and necessary seat swivel/slides. Manufacturer: ForeStar Industries for both parts. Distributor: regitar.com. Forestar Pedestal No: 185501-LAWOSST 12"-16". Regitar Seat/Slide part Number: 383121-LAR225. Very pleased with results. Not cheap, but well worth it!

Sounds like a nice improvement! Do you mind me asking the cost for that from the dealership? Always curious as I don’t do these sorts of things DYI…especially these days with my bad back and neck.

Sure, Jeff: I purchased the pedestals and required seat/swivel bases myself from Regitar ($455 per pedestal, and $126 per slide-swivel), so $1162 plus sales tax and freight for the parts. ...NOT cheap. The dealer charged me all of $149 to do both replacements, but I believe the dealer would have charged a lot more for that since their time was mitigated because they had to replace a pontoon that they damaged in the service yard and doing that provided easy access to the seat bolts under the deck that I otherwise would have had to pay for.
