I moved my boat to Geist Reservoir and now need to either keep the cover with me or take it to my car when I boat. I am hoping someone has a similar problem and has some good tips / techniques to tightly fold the massive cover up so that it can fit under a sear or in the console area. Any ideas please?

I honestly just bunch mine lengthwise and fold it up over itself into 1/3’s. Then I just stuff it either under our front seat, swingback seat, or in floor storage depending on what’s already in those spots. Nothing pretty, but it does the trick.

I posted this previously in a thread about how I fold. (Dave -semper fi - also has posted a video showing a similar method he uses (rolling instead of folding) that might work for you. You can do a search in the “search” box at the top of the page.

We unsnap from the port dockside and the bow/stern that we can reach, then fold in half over to the starboard side. Remove poles and fold again in half to starboard side. Finish unsnapping starboard then fold bow and stern to the middle - roughly at helm- then keep folding toward center again. (Some people roll it up but I find it easier to fold it and rest it on helm for the times I do it by myself.) pretty easy and quick once you have done it a couple times. it is fairly compact and I store it under the sun deck in the back - that is just storage for us.

Fortunately we have a huge storage area that the cover easily fits in. We do fold it in a way that when we take it out the snaps that we start with to cover the boat from the rear to the front is on the top. There is no real method to our folding but we........ unsnap from the front and roll/fold it back to the rear where the storage area is. We have done it 100's of times and could do it in our sleep. (Well almost.)

Watch this, roll it tight, and ours will fit in front seat base.

I roll mine then fold. Start at the back when taking it off and roll to the bow. When putting it back on I start at the bow and roll it back to the stern.

Yep. Fold it in thirds and roll it up tight. That's what we do daily. Works well.

I roll mine tight, front to back. Pretty small when that’s done. Then when it’s time to unroll, I just stand at the stern and give it a toss toward the bow. Cover and done.

Same here, fold into thirds and roll tight. I marked each end in center with a marker on inside of cover with Bow and Stern. Keeps it easy to unroll again incase it got turned around. Marking inside does now show.
