Water Trapped in Bow

Hi all. We’ve had our Bennington 25L bowrider for 5 years now. One consistent problem is that when we take on a little water in the floor of the bow, It will not drain. We have to bail It out. I climbed down into the floor to see what’s going on and can see that the drainage tube actually goes “up hill” which I’m assuming is why nothing is draining. Does this sound right or am I totally missing something else that should be going on here. We have performed all standard procedures to check for blockages and there are not any. Pic attached.

In those past 5 years that this has been occurring, what did your dealer have to say ?

This boat has been back to Indiana for several warranty issues. This was on the list but we were told everything looks fine. It just doesn’t make sense to me that It is designed this way, water isn’t going to flow uphill. Even under power the water just sits. Thought I would ask here for input before we go through the whole warranty process again in case there is a simple fix or I’m just overlooking something obvious.

Unfortunatley ,there are only a few Bow Rider owners on the forum .

Do you have a Bilge Pump ?

Are you able trace the length of that line in your pic ?
