What do you do while on the water?

If it's just my wife and I we'll cruise to a No Wake zone cove set both anchors making sure the table and sunpad is in the shade and have a nice meal and then get up on that sun pad and just hang out and/ or nap! Then my wife will take out her noodles and I take out my throw pillow and we'll float around......while in the water we'll clean the tubes if needed......

If we have guests onboard......we'll ski, tube, wakeboard, etc. etc. whatever they want to do........

I am not sure,

but I think there was a whole lotta talking in code in that post!

Yup..... nothing like the old noodles and a throw pillow on the water behind the boat! Ha!

We always take a selection of cold cuts and different cheeses and crackers.  If it's hot, we'll take fruits, especially cantaloupe and grapes.  Usually it's just me and her, and so we will try several of our favorite places to stop and float, or we'll head to the busier side of the lake to see all the other boats.  There are several small places to eat at the various marinas in the area.  The furthest marina I'd try for is just over 20 miles away, while the shortest is about 4 miles from our boat ramp, which is less than a mile from our house.  We're blessed!

A. Sex!

B. Skinny dippin' in the Gulf

C. Listening to music

D. All of the above!

yes, seriously.

Evening toddy cruises up and down channels looking at houses. Then laying out in the middle of the Assawoman Bay in the rear recliners watching the stars and planes go by. And what ever happens there after!

Aside from the obvious, if you have a family full of small kids that like to ride the tubes, what do you do on the toon when out for hours at a time? My wife and I don't fill our boat up with a bunch of people so it's usually just the two of us. We found a rectangle card table that fits just right, as well as the perfect match for our upholstery, so we'll take a game of Phase 10 or something. We also enjoy just sitting around and reading from the ipad (forums for me), while sipping a glass of wine (I make my own), and listening to the music. We also jnjoy waiting until around sunset, anchor on a beautiful spot of The Rez, and watch the sun set behind the horizon while sipping on another little glass of wine.

Just curious what most of you do for a quiet evening on your boat.

We have actually never had a time on the boat with just us. It sounds like something we need to do soon. I would think a little sunset cruise with some Margaritas and a nice private cove.

tubes, noodle, throw pillow. I don't know what you mean.

We like to take about a 18 mile ride for lunch at a marina. It never gets old and now that I can go over 40 miles an hour when I want,  it makes for an enjoyable ride.  We then make the trip back another 15 miles  and park in one of the great coves near are lake home and beach the Benny.  I play with the dog and my wife is on her floaty and then when the dog gets tired i grab a noodle and swim. We then take a ride after swimming. The lake we're on is 55,000 acres so this weekend we went to see a huge osprey nest. On a normal day we are usually on the lake for4-6 hours. I have been doing this for a 11 years and I love every minute of it.

Great responses from most. Life is good, isn't it?

Most of the time slow cruising but also on a regular basis, tie ups with friends, sandbar where we float on rafts.  And of course our favorite night cruises with a boat load of neighbors
