Most of us can not just hop on the boat and go without any additional items so what is your Must Have item?

For me its a cooler full of cold beer or other beverages, binoculars, glasses, and usually a Hawaiian shirt

Wallet, phone, Food and drinks, towels.  For my wife, add sunscreen, chapstick, ball cap, and probably some other stuff irrelevant to me.

Typically a fishing pole. While the wife lounges I make a couple casts and see what's biting. Living on the lake if we need or forget something it's a quick zip back to the dock.

Definitely sunblock out here.  Of course, towels, cooler goodies, IPOD, phone, float noodles and VHF radio.

Since the boat sits on the lift all the time. It's completely out fitted at all times. We walk out with a cold drink, towels, keys and a great attitude. Longer trips require more cold drinks! PS. forgot to say the phones.

Bait, drink cooler, snacks, tanning lotion for her, towels, iPhone. Oh yeah, she usually has a book. I'm sure that will be always now, having rear loungers.

Just keep it simple and only bring  the necessities; IPhone for music and cooler.

Must have: Key. We'll bring a bunch of stuff with us, but in the end I'm willing to go with nothing more than the keys to the boat.

I take keys and our dog.

We take the cooler with wine and water, phones with Pandora or iHeart, towels, usually a little game to play if we choose, and some snacks unless we are going to the sandbar for the day, then we take the grill and grilling food. It's usually pretty simple. We also grab the dog to take along.

How about Good Friends and Family. "Remember it's not about who you bring on your Boat. It's about who you don't bring on your Boat"

I know this isn't what you were asking for, but I'll make a comment anyway. I keep all my "must haves" on the boat 24x7, so in a pinch all I need is a bag of ice. I keep T shirt, shorts, water shoes, food (single serving bags of chips and cans/bottles of my favorite drinks), and towels are kept stocked on the boat always. I also have a small soft sided cooler stashed under a seat. If I decide to go boating at the last minute (say a meeting gets cancelled and I thought I wouldn't be boating that day) then all I have to do is stop by a convenience store on the way to the boat for a bag of ice and I can still have a great afternoon on the lake!

Lucky you. Even if a meeting were cancelled, I'd still be 21/2 hours away.
