What model boat is this?

Appears to be the SPS full tritoon hull. Certainly not the Express toon package. Also certainly not a stern radious layout. That build sheet doesn’t go with that boat.

Hull: Appears to be a SPS with 150hp motor and some of the upgraded interior and exterior options (center storage, swingback with rail and rear lighted Bennington speakers, bow filler seat, RGB lighting, etc) indicates a nice package. Those are some expensive options on that boat.

The cut-outs suggest an L line, I don't believe this feature is available on S Line, and the Dash which I believe is different between each model I see in the L model gallery. However, the dealer can often over-ride options found on-line.
Good catch. Maybe a regular L…? And what…NO model/length designation on the side. I wonder if that was original buyer requested, or are they no longer putting that on all models these days? It sure is handy in situations like this, or when new to pontooning with your new to you boat.

Side note: They did totally update the S-line interior furniture this year 2024. It’s pretty slick.

I went and saw the boat in person and to me it seemed like an express as the toon ended halfway down the boat. But it did have a in ground storage. Is it common for the build sheet to be wrong from Bennington?

Glad you saw it in person. For whatever reason in the pictures yesterday I thought it was a full length center tube. I’m not a fan of an express toon hull, but they do provide cost effective performance. They sit at a more extreme angle in the water, and I believe cause more motor spray as a result, so be aware. Simply a compromise in ride quality and performance between bi-toons and Tritoons.

Not common. I’ve always known Bennington’s build sheets to be 100% accurate for the Hull ID and what they built and shipped. Only time I’ve heard of divergence was if after purchase changes/modifications were done.

Motor is one item potentially changed after shipment. Motor is done at dealership, so a different motor could be agreed to and put on post order/purchase at dealership. After market lighting is often an upgrade owners will do as well that if added later wouldn’t be there. A second battery, different battery switch and trolling motors are also common after purchase changes some owners make that wouldn’t show on the build sheet when done separately or later.

Anyway, build sheet should reflect what was ordered/built/shipped to original boat dealership from Bennington themselves.

Hull ID Is ETWC9131G122. He just sent me a photo. However i emailed bennington for the build sheet today and its completely different than the boat is shown?
Perhaps the tag was changed ? Its only held on by 2 rivets .
As much doubt as you have on this boat , I would look for another .

No.

As Illinois mentioned I'd want to see the registration and title to verify the hull ID. Does Florida require the OB to be registered as well? I'd want to check that as well if so.

If the docs check out somehow and the price is right, at the end of the day I'd be less concerned about what the build sheet says as long as the warranty transfers. Personally if my radar is up about something I just move on and find another one... lots of fish in the sea!

I agree something is not right with this. Possibly the paper work was mixed up between OB? OB must be registered in FL. The paperwork definitely does not match that boat. jmo

Is this Bennington on Craigslist in Chester South Carolina? So the Scam is the seller gets you interested in the Boat then wants a fee to have his Delivery people bring the boat to your location. Wants a check in advance then cashes your check and you never see the boat.

OP ,stated he saw the boat yesterday.

He must have changed his mind ,has not been back today

There are soo many questions regarding this boat I wouldn't touch it. Maybe the guy found it in the water, from a hurricane, and tried to fix it up with other parts and sell it. Just because he saw it doesn't mean he didn't steal it. (I watch too many 48 hours shows I guess). After hurricane Ian destroyed SWFL there were sooo many scamers! Not even funny

I think we scared him. He gone!
I think so too. Like the rest of you, too many contradictions between the boat itself and what is being claimed to be the Hull ID paperwork. Too many red flags that were not getting cleared up more smoothly by the seller. I’d have passed just to be safe.
