What to do with the Bimini top?

Question for the folks who have to shrink wrap your pontoon for winter storage, what do you do with the bimini top when shrink wrapping your pontoon? Do you remove and store it elsewhere? Or, do you lay it flat and shrink wrap it attached?

Our installer used to lay it flat and they shrink wrapped around and over it....

We take ours off. Left it on one year trying to hurry and mice made a nest leaving a few holes in our canopy…
