Why the beeping

I have a 2002 Bennington 22 ft tritoon with 150 hp Mercury, two-stroke outboard

Recently rebuilt engine with new ECU, fuel pump, plugs etc.

First hour long trip after rebuilt was fine but as we pulled into our slip we got a beeping that in my former Bennington indicated low oil. Checked and it was low but even after filling it still beeps.

Thoughts?

Have you spoke to the person that did the rebuild ? I'd be a bit upset with it being low on oil after the rebuild.

Might also want to confirm it is peeing. My Yamaha would beep when clogged with weeds and limited cooling.

Is the alarm a low oil alarm or engine temp alarm? If low oil, and the reservoir is full perhaps the sensing device (internal float?) has failed or stuck, or needs testing? Problem with the oil injection system?
