Dont buy Wolverine trailers. Ordered dual axel 1 axel electric brake. Not connected. Now lug nuts are falling of. Bad paint job. Rude customer service. Guy i bought told me brakes were to be hooked up at plant. Wolverine told me guy was to hookup. Told me i could bring trailer back. I told them 650 miles is a little too far.

I was hearing of uncharacteristic manufacturer issues/problems on a number of recreational craft/watercraft related items from a number of different manufacturers recently while up to the dealership we use. Could be totally unrelated to the issues you are having with Wolverine trailers. However, one of the guys up there was saying the amount of quality control issues they are having across the board from most of their manufactures, and then challenges getting answers from them, has totally skyrocketed this year. Anyway, anyone getting any ”new” items this summer: trailers, boats, PWC, SxS, etc... should take extra care in looking over what they receive just in case things are “missing”, assembly not completed, etc…

This is the old you get what you pay for unfortunately. They are cheap for a reason. Sad no one did a double check for you. I’d let them know they sold you a faulty trailer and they should send someone to fix it before you kill someone on the road and they are found negligent. I have a prepaid legal service that I e used for issues like this. Unfortunately sometimes a lawyer has to send a letter to get action in today’s times.

For them to turn over the trailer, brakes not hooked up, seems like it would violate some sort of at least state level safety law. I wonder if you can look into that angle, and just report them to the proper regulatory agency if that is the case? It honestly bewilders me that either party would just point fingers at the other and be dismissive of this particular problem. Brakes people…brakes. Ugh.

Wow! How did that leave the factory like that? Or get by any inspectors? Sad.....

I bought a super duty trailer from Mid America trailers, in less than a year in the water just 2 times it rusted so bad the paint peeled off in sheets. Must have been bad prep work. The owner of trailer distributor Paul of Pauls Marine got me a new trailer from Flote-on at no charge. Beautiful trailer has gloss rhino liner instead of paint. hats of to Paul & Scott from Wilson Marine .

Agree - I have a super duty and it is the best trailer I have owned!

Not to mention Pauls Marine has an outstanding customer service team.
