This is a new 2026 Yamaha F 150 on a S22 Bennington Tri Toon. With 2 adults and a very light load of extra gear my WOT rpm is 6200. I am mostly going to be operating on the lite side as far as weight the majority of time. Do you guys think this rpm is to high. I love the hole shot and mid range acceleration. It is very very good and the top end 40 mph is enough for me. What do you think?

6200 is high . Check with Ken at propgods.com, he has helped several members here get dialed in .

Well...so far that sounds perfect to me, in any event wait until you have more time on the boat particularly with a moderate to heavy load. I know a local 22 footer setup about the same way (hits rev limit very light and top stowed, but is about 300 RPM below that with a moderate load and top up). 40 is very good speed and there is no restriction on how quick you get there! Who knows maybe you will acquire some friends or want to do some water sports....

The pontoon referenced above is Bentley 223 with a Suzi 200. Runs 44+MPH light and 37-38 with six full-sized adults, full fuel and the top up. Prop is a Solas 15x21. The pontoon has run my Nemesis 23p and a Solas 14.75x 23, but both of those lose acceleration AND top end.
