Just got a solicitation in the mail from Yamaha for extended service program. (Y.E.S)

Parts and labor are covered, no deductible, no paper work, and it's transferable.

The price seems steep, $670. for one year, $865 for two or $1070 for three.

Has anyone purchased it / used it .

Feel free to give me your thoughts on this.

I never Never buy the extended warranty.

WOW

WOW

WOW

It seems expensive to say the least

Of course if something goes wrong I may regret not purchasing it

From everyone I have spoken to the F90 Yamaha I bought this year is extremely reliable if maintained

I will not be buying the extended service agreement !

Same here. I bought based on warranty promotion. I'm covered for 5 years total.

Got 6 yrs on my Evinrude E-tec 225HO at no additional charge.  Hope I never need it but they are very good with warranty stuff.
