Yamaha unknown wire

My F75 Yamaha on my 2250 has this brown wire that I cannot, for the life of me, find where it connects to. Any ideas?

Welcome! Probably nothing connects to it. I've been told the same harness will be used on boats and motors and if there is not an option the wire will sit with no mate.

I have a similar wire on my 2019 Yamaha 115. I assumed it might be for diagnostics. It was like that new from factory.
