After having read several posts about replacing the original Garmin 95 Fishfinder, I finally took the plunge. Installed a 431S yesterday. It went very smoothly. I used a flush mount kit, used a jigsaw to cut out the hole using the supplied template. Slow and careful seemed to work. The connections on the backside were very easy, and I was able to use the same transducer cable. I had already replaced the actual transducer last summer. Hooked everything up and "presto", charts and sonar worked like a charm!
