    LED lighting breaker pops

Sweet, I'm going to try that route next. Of course, dealer had the boat for a week and it worked fine. I get out on the water and "pop" it goes again... Grrrr

    Help setting up 2018 23SSBXP

I agree I'm down a little bit on rpm, but I think I need to raise my motor a hole or two. On the other hand, I plan to send my ecu to Whipple after the warranty is up and go with the stage 1 tune. At that point I'll be spinning the motor over the 6k range (and have a higher redline) and be in...

    Help setting up 2018 23SSBXP

I would still think a 16P would be perfect for your setup. I have the Inertia 16P on my 200 Verado Pro and I hit 40 mph with 4 large adults at around 5400 rpm. With the 250, you should see a few more RPM and MPH. I have ran 2 other aluminum 4 blade props and each time I got back to the SS...

Have you noticed people who don't own pontoon boats have the most to say about them.

We had a similar experience this past weekend. We were with a bunch of people and there was one other boat there, a v-hull I/O and we had a 3 person tube/sled. He took people out once, I think we took 1/2 dozen groups out. Comment I heard several times was, "wow, I've never been around pontoons...

    LED lighting breaker pops

I dropped boat off at dealer last night for service, they're going to look at them again. OF course, last time they looked at them they stayed on for 50 mins... They pop when motor is running, so not sure why that would make a difference but it does.

    LED lighting breaker pops

Trying to figure out why the LED accent/speaker lighting keeps popping the breaker on the helm. I've noticed if the brightness is turned up all the way, it'll pop after 30 seconds - a few minutes. This is with the motor running as well. IF I turn down the brightness, it'll stay on fine. Took it...

    Do These Numbers Sound Right?

That's awesome! While cruising around 4500rpm for several minutes, I usually get the "FLOOR IT!" call over the wind noise. Of course, this depends on water conditions, but still makes me smile every time!

I agree, that's a big motor for a 15p, 16 or 17 would drop the RPMs to a more comfortable area IMO. I'd try a 16p, might be perfect?

We're on the Columbia River and the Snake merge. Our salesman tatered his prop last year and is VERY experienced on the same river. Call me paranoid, but I know these verado 200 Pros aren't cheap, and neither is the $80k tritoon we just dropped some coin on. Needless to say, piloting this 23'...

Gotcha, wasn't trying to stir the pot by any means, still new here and learning. But thank you for clarifying, that's what I needed to hear. I typically need an explanation with a response vs a canned "it's wrong don't do it". I have already decided to return the new "spare" prop. Just not sure...

For sure! Nope bad for a V6 and still averages 18 mpg every tank with mostly city driving. Not to mention keeps up with our 392 charger pretty well.

OK... But I'd rather booger up a $150 prop than my enertia stainless prop. So you're saying nobody 200+ HP runs a aluminum prop? Yet even Mercury recommends the black max, which is an aluminum alloy prop.

So today I picked up a aluminum 15x16P 4 blade Vortex Xhs. It was a windy day so before I return it I'll have to try it out again because something was "off". 6100 rpm and 34mph can't be right..... Can it? I trimmed it up until rpms went up and speed dropped... Not liking it so far, but it's...

Bulldog dyno sheet showed 412whp/530trq, and the meth injection is supposed to add 5%. I figure it's putting down around 425/550 at the wheels and it definitely feels like it empty and in sport mode =D
