So this weekend on the river I was victim to a boulder taking out my lower unit. Long story short I need assistance looking up or where to look for the part number on the lower unit. The entire case was sheared in half and the prop and skeg are gone! Now I need a new case and prop, ugh. Also...
Sweet, I'm going to try that route next. Of course, dealer had the boat for a week and it worked fine. I get out on the water and "pop" it goes again... Grrrr
I agree I'm down a little bit on rpm, but I think I need to raise my motor a hole or two.
On the other hand, I plan to send my ecu to Whipple after the warranty is up and go with the stage 1 tune. At that point I'll be spinning the motor over the 6k range (and have a higher redline) and be in...
I would still think a 16P would be perfect for your setup. I have the Inertia 16P on my 200 Verado Pro and I hit 40 mph with 4 large adults at around 5400 rpm. With the 250, you should see a few more RPM and MPH. I have ran 2 other aluminum 4 blade props and each time I got back to the SS...
We had a similar experience this past weekend. We were with a bunch of people and there was one other boat there, a v-hull I/O and we had a 3 person tube/sled. He took people out once, I think we took 1/2 dozen groups out. Comment I heard several times was, "wow, I've never been around pontoons...
I dropped boat off at dealer last night for service, they're going to look at them again. OF course, last time they looked at them they stayed on for 50 mins... They pop when motor is running, so not sure why that would make a difference but it does.
Trying to figure out why the LED accent/speaker lighting keeps popping the breaker on the helm. I've noticed if the brightness is turned up all the way, it'll pop after 30 seconds - a few minutes. This is with the motor running as well. IF I turn down the brightness, it'll stay on fine. Took it...
That's awesome!
While cruising around 4500rpm for several minutes, I usually get the "FLOOR IT!" call over the wind noise. Of course, this depends on water conditions, but still makes me smile every time!
We're on the Columbia River and the Snake merge. Our salesman tatered his prop last year and is VERY experienced on the same river. Call me paranoid, but I know these verado 200 Pros aren't cheap, and neither is the $80k tritoon we just dropped some coin on. Needless to say, piloting this 23'...
