I searched and read some post about cleaning toons. I am going to try the power wash method. For those that use that method, how do you power wash the bottom of the toons while the pontoon is on a trailer? Doesn't the trailer bunk boards get in the way?

Well, not flawlessly. It stops playing and I have to remove the USB drive and then re-insert. Sometimes I have to re-insert several times before it will play. So I decided to try a different USB drive. I erased a 2GB drive and formatted as MS-DOS (FAT) Went back out on the lake and tried the drive. It worked flawlessly. The original drive is also formatted MS-DOS (FAT) and still works in my car. Hard to figure out but glad the second drive works.

New KMC 10 arrived and installed. Everything is fine now except the USB is flakey. Sometimes the screen only shows "wait." Other times a song plays for a few minutes and then just quits. Still better than the completely "dead" unit. No issues with Bluetooth play.

Update: Dealer called and is ordering a new unit for us. Dealer said it might take a couple of weeks to arrive.

Thanks. I will feel better when this is resolved. I have now called the dealer, transferred to warranty guy and got VM. Now waiting for call back. I am 4 hours from the dealer and hoping that they can just send me a new head unit.

Yes, sounds exactly like what happened to our unit. I really appreciate all the responses to our problem. Hopefully I will hear back from the dealer soon.
