So I went to the lake this past weekend and decided to do some manual labor and see how much crud I could get off with a scrubbing brush. I got most of the surface algae off the outer pontoons but they still felt like 100 grit sandpaper. An ice scraper may have been the ticket!!

We got our 2275 QCW I/O with the 5.7 Volvo Penta last year about this time and absolutely loved it.
Boat would do 40 to 42 mph...
Are there any other options as far as a taller ski pole for the 2575 QCW I/O
I have the one supplied by Bennington but it's a little on the short side, I don't want to go crazy and get one that will ruin the boat but at least something 1-2 feet taller than stock!

Ben, not sure of the speeds we are seeing (no speedo) but possibly mid to high 20's if I were to guess. I will try gauge the speed this weekend with a gps.
