I am not robbing other boaters of their night vision...we use them in secluded areas and only when needed.  The lights in the back are shining down towards the water, sorry if my lights offend you!

Valid point spoiled, but in my experiance, for some reason, the sun has really done a number on all of my other outboards (especially the top of the motor).  Much more than it has done to the paint on my trucks.  I just want to be able to maintain the perfect finish on the cowling for when I get...

theoretically, there should not be any dust or dirt over the water, so no need for air filter...that is what I was told years ago anyway.

Has anyone used the OCA or Tuffskinz vented splash covers? I ordered one today, hopefully they perform as advertised! Review to come.

They are just Cree LED's that I installed. I also have a 20" light bar in the front. It is mounted under the deck on the cross support that the trailer winch U bolt is on.

I spoke to Yamaha Customer service, and she told me that it was available to order from your dealer.  Pretty much sounded like it was a "plug and Play" cable.  I am going to check into it, my dealer had not heard of it.
