Go to USTREAM and look up lake of the Ozark shootout. It will start streaming at 9:00 am central. There was even a PWC that was clocked at 95 mph today. The toon was wild watching, it had trip 300's and the front door open. It was a tri toon and very stable all the way through the run.
The new speed record was set today for a pontoon boat at the Lake of the Ozark's Shootout. The tooned in went 114 mph. So far the fastest boat is at 209 mph.
What you need is to have the dealer put the rub rail on over the winter. It is like a rubber bumper so you don't dent the fascia band that is standard. If I understand correctly this is your problem?
Has anyone done it their self? I was thinking about buying one of the pumps that suck the oil out of the dipstick hole because I don't want to take my boat off the lake.
We get there 4 or 5 times a year. Gonna stay at the Lodge for the week. It is fun there but some of the idiot's do make it tough. Buy the way, sorry to hear about your toe.
I do keep it trimmed up a bit and it does help. As stated as soon as I get to about 1200-1500 and above it stops. I don't think it is something to call the dealer about since it is not something that I can't fix myself. I am going to come up with something and report back.
Does anyones doors vibrate and rattle when at an idle? I don't know if this common or if it is just my boat. Both my port door and stern door (only when stern is open). If this is common what is everyone doing to fix the rattle? Weatherstripping?
