My gas/trim gauge fogs up. Have had the dealer look at it several times but they say that since it intermittently clears that they won’t replace it. It’s exceedingly annoying so should I continue to push the dealer or just go straight to corporate?
Polarity of your speaker wires should have zero effect on humming. All it changes is the phase (basically is the sub in step with the in boat speakers). You should have a phase switch on the sub. This allows you to see what polarity sounds better (if the sub pushes out when the in boat kickers...

I think the prop is fine. With clean tunes it did 43 at 5900. I think its mounted to low. Hole shot and turning are fine. Its just seems like it is missing some top end. From what I have read I think I should be able to see the cavitation plate at speed?
I have the same issue with my trim. Boats a 2550 with an f250 and Saltwater II 15 1/2 x 17. Engine is mounted on the lowest hole and I think this is probably the issue. I cant see the cavitation plate while running with the prop all the way down or 3/4 up! Very little difference when changing...
Quick question. My arm is loose where it connects to the bracket (that attaches to the rail). You can tighten the quick release screw but it has no effect on this looseness. It suprisingly does not seem to cause much vibration of the mirror but I am curious if this is normal?
