That's pretty obvious but I would like to know is that spacing between the cross channels equal from bow to stern? Trying to understand if the spacing is closer than 24" from center to aft near the transom on the S/SX/SXP models. Would be great if Bennington would include in their brochure a...
I would like to know more about the difference in the “on center midship cross channels” spacing on the S/SX/SXP models vs. the G/R/Q models. I’ve read the S/SX/SXP models use 24” spacing and the G/R/Q models use 16” spacing but I don’t know exactly how to interpret that or the actual...
Seems like they could have moved the Striker 4 down a few more inches and it would lose its tilted look. The way it is installed in the pic is especially bad since you would have to lean to the right and tilt your head to the left to view the screen. I did see another picture of the helm with...
As a potential buyer of the G series in the very near future I am very disappointed in this new helm design. What a downgrade from the existing design ! The Striker 4 install looks like a complete after thought. And why would they put a cheap plastic cover over the 12v and USB ports? The...
Here's a link to the source of my info on the gauges and firmware. One source suggested that it is not possible to upgrade the ICON PRO firmware in the field.

I wish my dealer rigged a ton of Evinrudes ...
Sounds like you have the most recent owner manual (Rev. B) but they installed a gauge with the older firmware. No biggie as the manual procedure looks just as easy. I'll have to figure out a way to request a gauge with the newest fw.
Do you run the RX4 prop on your G2? You mentioned you...
Happy to hear that great report on the iTrim. I'm still grinding over the choice between the ICON PRO's and the touchscreen display. Not much benefit on the TS display other than the cool factor when you only have a single outboard. But I did read that the early ICON PRO's did not have the...
You make many good points for the inclusion of the rail on the Swingback lounger. I will definitely include this as an option knowing I could always remove it later (doubt I would though).
Reattaching it could be an issue. After looking at many pictures on the interweb the rail is not bolted...
Just curious if any Swingback owners have regrets about choosing the the keeper rail option, or regrets about not choosing it.
And if you did choose it and regret it, were you able to easily remove it? Looks to me like it is screwed on to the lounger's fence rail base and could be easily...
Thanks so much for the reply and pictures! Don't know if I will need that touch-screen but the cool factor is very tempting.
Do you have the iTrim feature enabled and if so what do you think?
And what did they set your DPS level to? (min, medium or max). I don't fully understand why there...
Thanks for your reply. I dug deep into "the google" and did confirm this. The G2 has a "power assist" feature (DPS) built in, and the hydraulic hoses from the helm are run to fittings on the mounting/steering/trim-tilt assembly.
