Quick question regarding this topic.
This spring when I was cleaning out the storage area there was a couple inches of water in the toon. I see the bilge pump at the bottom and was wondering what controls it? Is it on some switch or is there a float built in to the pump? I bought the boat...
That was it! That's what I thought initially but I tried to remove what I thought was the washer and it seemed as if it was part of the old prop. After your post went and put some more effort in and out in came. Thanks!!
I recently purchased a Reliance prop on E bay and I tried to install it earlier today on my Yamaha outboard and the splines on the drive shaft were sticking out past the rear of the hub assembly. Is there a spacer I'm missing?

I'm constantly playing with the trim looking for the sweet spot. Thanks for all the help again. I'll check out the linkages and let you know what I find.
Doing other research has me wondering if the motor is possibly too high on the transom. It seems even with this new prop unless I have it...

Again, I appreciate all the helpful members out there.
Hey there everyone, again thanks for the help. This is what I've learned in the past few days. The prop that is currently on the boat is a OSI by Turbo "offshore" 14 1/2 x 15 four blade, not a good match. Eventually I'd like to purchase a Yamaha reliance 14.5 X 15 three blade but for now I can...
I recently purchased a 2007 2275RL with the performance package and a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke. I've noticed prop cavitation and the RPMs wont get above 4500 and top speed is 28mph.
The prop currently on the toon is a aftermarket 4 blade stainless, unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to...
