Pics would be helpful. I would like to find a dog ladder that wouldn't take up the people ladder space. A side load ladder would be fantastic. ANYONE???

I was concerned about drilling holes in the top rail in fear of hitting any wires.I like the EZFender but don't want to damage anything. Thoughts please. 

Does anyone have a suggestion for a dog ladder for a large(70lb) dog? I have looked at several but nobody I know has ever used one. I think that a side load would be my first choice to keep it away from the rear ladder.
