I have a 22 ft SX Bennington Pontoon. That I leave on the lake yearly near Lake Eustis. My problem is the braided Fender lines that I bought are not nylon. And after a year or year and a half they just about disintegrate in the Florida Sun and Heat. I still have a few nine nylon braided lines...
During the summer we go home from Florida during May to October. Not sure if it's necessary to cover the boat during the summer months. Please let me know if you think it's necessary to cover the pontoon during the summer. Thanks,
I store my Bennington Pontoon in Florida during the summer I cover it but curious about should I also cover the Yamaha motor. I haven't before but not sure if I was right. Any advice.
Was on Dora canal last week and there is a large limb horizontal in the canal which hinders two boats passing at one time. Not being here only a couple years it seems there's not much done to maintain and limit hazards. So we just stay off the canal on the weekends.
This maybe trivial but when I siphon the gas from my tank to the inlet I always get a backflow because I believe the hose doesn't fit tight enough. And so I'm curious if anyone else has this problem or if they have another solution.

I cover my 2020-22 ft SX 5 months of the year which is predominantly the summer months as we go home to PA. The cover protects pretty well and we do need to clear the upholstery and I use a pressure washer for the deck. I have a double Bimini which I think helps a lot with the elements.
So, we were out on the Dora Canal Saturday and it got a little crazy at the end and trying to get out into Lake Dora, FL.. One boat at a time makes it. So, floating around, backing up, etc. The Bimini was no match for the tree branch. Does anyone have a idea of how to straighten the square...
