I also tested in calm (glass waters) this is a trioon. It doesn't hit rev limiter or cut spark but over rev light flashes. I trim up just until bow raises and then the gauge shows 1/4 on trim gauge

Do you need the ability to lower the boat to the ground? If so you will need a crank up. But be warned they are way more expensive for a tritoon. if you don't a floaton/bunk style is the way to go.
