    Engine Selection

FWIW, I have a 2575RCW and my brother has the 2550RCL.  I have the 200hp SHO and he has the 250 3.3L.  Mine is quicker all the way around.  Side by side, I can cruise at 3600rpm while he's somewhere between 4000-4200rpm to hold the same speed.  Just our own experience of these specific boats. ...

    Sharkskin... pros and cons

I was convinced on putting sharkskin on the new 2575RCW I'm ordering but my dealer is trying to convince me otherwise.  She said it does work as described; however, it scratches easily.  More concerning, she said you can't acid wash the toons...which we often do on the lake we're on.  This got...

    2574GCW - 200hp SHO - WOT 4700rpm?

Derrick, thx for the response. Quick question, what size (dia.) prop are you running and do you have any mid-range number (speed @ 3500rpms)?

    2574GCW - 200hp SHO - WOT 4700rpm?

Looking for suggestions if I'm over propped or if my tach may be off. 2011 2574 GCW, Yamha 200 SHO, 15 1/2 x 17 Yamaha Saltwater Series II WOT 4700rpm, 35mph.. 1/2 tank gas, 2 guys, no wind, water was like glass, 50% trim Considered moving to the 15 3/4 x 15 Saltwater series, but my local...
