2016 Maiden voyage....

Our 2016 boating season has started! Just a gorgeous day on Lake Norman! Nobody out there on a Monday! My wife and sister in law skiied and we all just hung out anchored in a cove close to home. The water is actually not as cold as I thought it would be. Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!


Of course there are thunderstorm warnings so we had to put Big Kahuna away............

Not often us Michigan boys beat you southerners to the water! Sounds like a great way to start a season!

Yeah, you were cutting it close, this post being only two hours old!  It's been coming down here for 1/2 an hour already!  Looks like more coming later tonight.  South of us has been getting hammered even harder for longer so Wylie's not going to want any more water from us so the lake will probably fill up from all of this rain!

Mine's been on the lift since early last week, but the cover hasn't even come off with all the rain and nastiness we've had.
