22' tritoon on trailer weight?

Here's some info on 21SSBXP, which is 22' in actual length:

- Dry hull weight - 2,504 lbs
- Yamaha VMAX 150 - 480 lbs
- Fuel - 6 lbs / gallon
- Stuff on board - ??
- Trailer - ??

Thanks for the replies. My towing capacity is limited to 5k pounds, which is the reason I am asking.

If you are going a short distance to the ramp I would think that would be fine. Long distance at highway speed I would be more worried about stopping. Being maxed out effects you most during emergency or quick maneuvers.

Gotcha. I would be traveling a few miles. I would also put trailer brakes on. However, I can't find any decent data on the weights. As far as fuel goes, if needed, I could tow it unfueled, and gas up at the dock.

Research the topic of trailer weight related to my toyhauler, ideally the trailer has its own brakes / stopping power and thus not a reason for the limited tow weight. Instead, it's about what the tow vehicle engine, suspension and tow hitch can handle.

Also, where would you be towing it?
Here in flatland desolate country we are much more willing to operate in a gray area than one would if towing in mountainous terrain or heavy traffic.
Experience and common sense is just as vital as proper equipment.

It's wise to stay inside of rated capacities in the off chance of catastrophic scenarios to keep liability on the shoulders of your insurance company. You may love your insurance company, but if a loophole can save them millions they will toss you under the bus in a heartbeat.
