2550 GSR fuel gauge showing full all the time

I have a 2013 2550 GSR, fuel gauge just started showing full all the time, sending unit plug looks ok where do i go next?

it is but its stored on a lift onthe lake , trailer is stored was hoping for a quick idea

Check the wire from sender to the gauge for a short to ground.

Also take a look at the float in the gas tank, easy to check and make sure it isn't stuck at top and easily slides up and down
