ANY option for keeping the boat covered during trailering?

I know it is not recommended to use the OEM cover when trailering, but I have an arctic white interior that gets really beat up with bugs, etc. while trailering on the Highway.

I’m concerned that if I hit a patch of tar or other road grime it is going to permanently damage the Simtex fabric.

I would think that there has to be some type of fabric out there that could be used for a cover while traveling that would stretch and not be as prone to tearing as the OEM cover. I know it might be costly, but for me I think it would be worth it.

Any canvas shop can make a trailering cover. Mine was twice as heavy as the mooring cover. It covered the side rails and attached under the decking. It was so heavy that it was made in 2 pieces with a zipper to tie the pieces together.

Look into the Aqualon fabric. Extremely tough, won't rip/tear. It's waterproof, and it is all my local canvas shop uses for boat covers. (And it costs a lot less than Sunbrella.)
