Any tips on getting a used 2001 2275 cc

I am looking at a used 2001 2275 with a 90 hp on it.


The big minus is the carpet looks dirty mildew and seats need help.


Any other things I need to check out.

What motor does it have? Does it run? How many hours does it have? How is the steering? Lights, horn, radio, Gauges work? Welcome to the forum.

Mercury 90 hp it's 2001.  Yes it runs and the steering is ok and good battery. No radio, lights, horn guages work.   


I was offered a good ride on it. It's on a lift in a wet slip.  3k is what they asking big thing is no trailer for it.  All tags are good on it also. The carpet looks ruff and the seats have a few cracks.

For that price, you can buy it, use it for a year.  If you like pontooning, sell it next year for the same money and buy newer.  If it is not your lifestyle, it will sell fast.  Used pontoons sell quickly.

I bought a 97 Crest and sold it a couple months later for more than I paid. It too had rough carpet and interior. They do sell quick when in that price point.
