Well here in SW Florida it is about 1” deep from the ice maker! In Saskatchewan Winter was mild until February and then it was not great,so I think on the lake the ice would likely be about 2 ft thick. It is warming up there now. We return mid April so it should be fine but the boat will still be in our shop until May.
