Bimini top

We picked up our new Bennington and was out on the water and tried to put up the bimini top but it kept coming loose from its anchoring connection

spot. How do you keep it locked in the anchor connection. Thanks

Didn't the dealer show you how to use the bimini? You should have to pull down on the arms to snap them in.

I suspect you don't really have the connector snapped and locked in place.  When mine was new I carried a rubber mallet to tap the connector and lock in place and to unlock.  It gets a lot easier after a few times using it.

We give ours a bump with our side of a fist to pop them into place.

The bimini foot has a slot in it that seats over a pin within the frame bracket.  As mentioned above, the foot needs some gentle persuasion to lock the foot onto the bracket.
