I had just read last week that the Bennington acquisition by Polaris was going to cause an avalanche of these type of deals.

Bennington may have started it when they consolidated all those boat brands a couple years back. It seemed to just snowball from there.

It’s not just Bennington and BRP. It’s happening all over. Look at the tech companies. Even my industry, it’s a weekly occurrence of mergers and acquisitions.

Same here in the energy sector. Luckily I work for the biggest so I should be safe.

FWIW, BRP also acquired Alumacraft awhile back.
