We purchased our pontoon when we lived in Ohio but since moved to Florida. Need help on how to clean these areas. What do you use and recommendations.
The first 2 pics shows a bit of oxidation around the cleats on an anodized aluminum surface. Aluminium doesn't get clean with any alkaline-based substance such as laundry powder/Ajax etc. Never use that on this surface. It'll scratch it. Use acid-based substances such as citrus juice or white vinegar (basically, any mild acid). Scrub hard with a vinegar soaked rag. Might take you a couple times to get it clean. Can't really tell from the 3rd pic what exactly is wrong with the pontoon surface. Looks speckled. How did that happen?

That 3rd picture looks like salt corrosion / pitting to me. Hopefully not, but it loos similar to my pontoon which has the same issue. I believe my pontoon was transported during salt road conditions in MN and not cleaned off.
