Hi All - This forum is great for newbies like me. I'm going to have a custom cover made for trailering our 22SLX. The question is - how should the bimini be "stowed" for trailering? Should the cover go on top of bimini or can the bimini be outside the cover? Any other advise on trailering would be helpful We are planning to drive several hundred miles with the boat.

Also, if anyone has an enclosures - do you use it? When do you use it? Would you recommend it or is it a waste. We are generally not campers, but though the enclosure could be a place to sleep while our friends are in their RVs at the campsite. Any drawbacks to a slanted cover vs full cover? I suppose it would depend on intended purpose and price difference.

Bennington should start offering covers for all boats.

Thanks

Julie

If you have trailering struts on your bimini (short ones on the rear legs), then you should use them to lay the top down when trailering.
