Before we get our new baby, we have a little problem that we are trying to figure out.  We rent a slip at our local marina and the way the docks are setup, well i'll try to explain it, but will get a picture this weekend and post it here.  It goes the wooden dock, boat, big steel pole that is wrapped in PVC, boat, dock and keeps going in that pattern.  Last year we ended up tying an old boat cushion to the steel pole to help with the boat banging up against it.  It worked ok but still got some marks from it.  DO NOT want this happening to the new boat.  Problem is, being a rental slip we can't permanently attach anything to it.  At first we though we could somehow tie a flat boat fender around the pole but they don't seem to bend very well.  So, hoping some of you guys might have an idea of what we can do?  Maybe just tie a couple boat fenders to the side of the Bennington?  Would prefer something that we can tie to that pole.

Something like this ?

That would be too small, thanks though!

How big is the steel pole?

Would something more like this work?

or this, depending on the spacing and number of poles:

Either one of those looks like it will work, probably the first one would work better!  Thanks!!

I found that pier bumper HERE using paypal just in case anything happens.  Almost fell over from the shipping charge, but this looks to be the best thing that will work for our setup!  Will update this thread when we get it and put it up!  Thanks Dub9 that helped a lot!

Sorry it took me so long, but we didn't put our boat in until today!  It was just toooooo nice out!  We were also kind of holding off to see if maybe our new boat might be in in the next week or so, but like I said, just toooooo nice out!  :)

It worked perfectly!  Once the straps were as tight as I could get them, this thing doesn't move at all!  Happy I spent the extra money on this and now we are ready for the new boat!!  :D
