Anyone experiencing their trim gage operating erratically? My new pontoon boat and engine, now only in the 2nd season has a gage that you can never trust. Obviously the boat is still under warranty and I can take it in for repair, but hauling it to a dealer is a long way and I was wondering if this is a common problem that can be easily corrected myself or should I just go ahead and take it in for a fix?

I haven't had that issue either of my Benningtons. Possible loose connection?

My 3 year old Benny started doing that this summer as well. The ol' "jiggle wire" has fixed it every time so far... Thought maybe we snagged the wire early in the summer loading stuff into the storage under the console... Maybe we didn't and this is an issue if others are having it? Happened maybe 3-4 times this summer.
