I believe it is the carp that jump correct? Seems like a couple passes with a big net behind the boat will reduce their numbers. I wonder how long until they ruin the great lakes.
Pretty bad in the Midwest - Mississippi River and connected river systems. All the way up the small Kaskaskia river to the dam at our local lake at Carlyle but so far not too bad in the lake yet. Key word being yet...
My dealer actually has a special boat he rigged just for 'redneck' fishing tournaments on the lower Kaskaskia. He said they catch so many that they weigh the whole boat after the tourney at the local grain elevator.
I undestand there are serious investments being made on the Illinois river up North by Chicago to try to keep them out of Lake Michigan.
