Going Universal Gauges

I have a 2004 207L that none of the gauges work. They’ll light up, but won’t do a thing. I’ve tried a quick voltage test and they all seem to be getting power. I even took the voltage gauge off the dash and hooked it straight to the battery with no luck.

I’m guessing they’re all shot. They looked pretty weathered as there’s moisture inside. I’ve looked for originals, but I’m guessing they’re no longer available.

Should I tamper with going universal and wiring it up myself, or bite the bullet and take it in? I’m handy with 12v, but would be my first attempt on a boat.

They deal with obsolete eom parts. Might get lucky. If not, I’d go aftermarket. Should be pretty easy.

Agree.
Aftermarket does make some gauges that look pretty nice.
