I now have ..... Baystar steering.

Well I now know why my steering was so stiff. The lube in the steering tube has dry and caked up.  


We started the baystar install at about 4 finished about 6 something. We lost about an hr getting the cable steering out and breaking frozen nuts .  


Since its out the water I get to clean the toons and change the anodes.

So if you don't mind saying,how much do you have invested in your boat so far Bugs? Sounds like you have turned corner from the years of neglect and sitting . You should be proud of your Benny project! It's always easier to do project if the structure was built well to start with! Hope your enjoying the boat.

The really good cleaning made the big difference. But I put a new radio in and speakers , moved my vhf to it, and lowrance to,it. 


I added dual batteries and switch and fuel water separator. And now baystar. .......
